Polish Go Association and Polish-Chinese Cultural and Economic Association invite all go players to the first edition of the Polish-Chinese Go Tournament, which will be held on 5th - 6th September 2014 in Warsaw during the Chinese-Polish trade fair China-Expo.
The purpose of the tournament is to bring together Chinese and Polish players as well as players from all over Europe.
To play you must be a citizen of a European country or hold a residence card in Poland. Apart from very attractive prizes we've also prepared free accomodation for the first 30 registered players (from outside Warsaw).
If you feel you have what it takes to compete for the title of Polish Champion or you'd like to cheer on as others are fighting for it, you'll be pleased to know that the tournament will also serve as this year's Polish Championship League Preliminaries. The four best ranked players (PGA members who are Polish citizens or hold a residence card in Poland) will qualify for the Polish Championship League Final. Next-best placed players (who also meet the above-mentioned criteria) will be eligible to become a substitute player.
The main referee of the tournament is Michał Parkoła.
